Acknowledgements
(CPAWV Picnic 5-4-2013)

Dear all,
We hope you enjoyed the outdoor activities (BBQ, the beautiful cave and mini-golf) at Laurel Caverns last Saturday. On behalf of the CPAWV, we want to thank Dr. David Cale, the owner of Laurel Caverns, very much for the generous offers of the special admission tickets and free miniature golf!

This was the first time we had our picnic party at a place without a park picnic grill. However, with the effort of GAO Dong and ZHANG Hanting by offering their own grills, we did not have any cooking problems.

It was a big challenge to organize such a huge party for nearly 150 people, with food, drinks/beers, fruits, and entertainment, etc. We were glad we made it because of your participation, contributions, time, and effort. Thank you!

As always, our committee members devoted a lot to make the event happen successfully; they include CHEN Yunxia, DING Min, GAO Dengliang, GAO Dong, Bob HOU, LI Xin, WU Xiaowen, WU Yun, XU Ying, ZHANG Hanting, and ZHOU Hui, although some of them did not make it because of the schedule conflict. We deeply appreciate it.

Also, we wanted to thank the volunteers for their excellent jobs, including (in the alphabetical order of the last names):

  • BBQ cooking: GAO Dong, HU Heng, LI Xiaomeng, SUN Yunfu, Steve TENG
  • BBQ Steak: LIANG Xiaoming, WANG Yan, WU Yun, XU Xueyan

  • Cleanup: HU Heng, David HO, HUANG Ying, LI Xiaomeng, REN Xuefang, Steve TENG, ZHOU Nana, and Laurel Caverns staff (apology – I did not have all the names)
